DON'T BUY A VITAMIX TO EAT HEALTHIER...
(or any other fancy blender)
...until you're sure you'll actually use it consistently over the long term.
Don't get me wrong, we love our Vitamix. We've had a healthy smoothie nearly every day since we bought our VM in summer 2015.
This is us on our one year smoothie anniversary. So pumped! Our girls were totally into it (and still are). My wife and I make our share of parenting mistakes, but I'll confess that we do occasionally high five over how we've gotten the kids to think about healthy eating.
But these blenders are super expensive! I was all for investing in our health, but I also knew our track record of quitting on things once the initial enthusiasm faded. I was terrified that we'd end up wasting our money and feeling like we'd failed at something that was supposed to be so easy.

But don't buy that either. (I'm quite the salesman, aren't I? lol)
